| Interesting. If I had to guess I would say that 'current threats' include gangs of young people and possibly terrorists?
Have a good day.

| It is humbling to see how much effort the guys put into their training. It's a distinct privilege to be associated with a community of guys who train like demons, share willingly, help each other, and make the event so enjoyable. Many thanks to Greg, Slacky and Si for their outstanding presentations. I'll be posting photos later. | |

| Yesterdays current threats seminar was great, some real good fitness drills. The level of commitment to putting all out effort into the drills was top notch.
Si,Den and Slacky's presentations were also as usual first class.
I have done martial arts for 30 years but I always love the real stuff and always get it when I train with these guys.
Would also like to say that Den s ability to always be open minded to stay one step ahead on what the current threats are is very refreshing.
Thanks Phil we had a good scrap haha.
Thanks also to Dave Mc what a runner.
If you looked in the dictionary at fighting spirit I am sure you would find a pic of Jimmy Farthing.
Glad my Module went down well.
I am chuffed to be an instructor and feel I have learned a great deal in how to put a seminar/ lesson plan together better.
Thanks everyone involved.

The depth of experience and knowledge of the instructors was as always inspiring and it was a pleasure to spend the day in the company of highly motivated individuals who made it such a brilliant learning experience. | The weekend was a tonic. The usual mix of excellent company, good food and training hard enough to bring a tear to a glass eye. I'm utterly exhausted and possess a purple thumbprint-sized bruise on my throat. I should add a public thanks to PhilW, who provided invaluable prompts and pointers during my presentation, as well as helping out to coach the guys as they worked their way through the drills. What a gent.

| Hi All, Cheers Den for another great seminar Thanks to all the instructors who put in their time and effort into the day the content and intensity was awesome. Special mention to Greg for his section on ground work - my coordination is not the best but the way you put across the content really made sense and "clicked" - maybe coming from Wigan helps? Si - the last few drills were killers - not sure if someone had upset you earlier in the day but there was no need to take it out on us! Thanks again to everyone who took part - one of the hardest days training Ive done and one I wont forget in a hurry. Cheers Mark | |

| Great weekend.
Congratulations to the new instructors, well earned.
Thanks to Den, Si, Greg and Slacky for the presentations. Great content.
It was physically intensive and very thought provoking.
I have the sore head and the red mark, will have to avoid Dave until it disappears as people will think it is a cult thing.
First class training with fiirst class people.

| Only combatives practitioners will understand the next statement:
What a fantastic weekend; I enjoyed every minute of it, even when stuggling not to throw up on the football pitch outside.
As currently under discussion in another thread, something changes when one gets into combatives. A big thank you to Dennis and all the lads who supported me through the Saturday and similarly to everyone on the Sunday for creating an atmosphere where digging deep is the only way to go. It is considered a stressful week at work now, but after the weekend I can take it in my stride. Thanks again.

| Excellent day of training, and I loved the fact that it was simple and effective.....my brain hurts when grappling goes past the first move!!!
Another example though where you think you're reasonably fit only to discover a new orifice to breathe through when fan+feces meet ;0) And boy did those two buggers meet!!!!!!
Thanks to all who taught, all who helped me train (those Scots are awesome fellows - a proud pleasure to know you D&D) and to all the attendees. More than training, I get to meet up with friends as well, and I love that fact.
