Hello

Hi everyone,

I first saw this forum a couple of years ago (thanks to Southnarc), but for whatever reason (probably too many shots to the head) forgot about it. Then last weekend I hosted SN here for ECQC and he reminded me about this place.

Plus, now that I have had the pleasure of meeting, training, and hanging out with the inimitable Slackbladder at MATC, it gives me even more reason to check out all the good info here.

Good to see you here, Cecil!

For those who haven't heard of him, Mr Burch is a superb Brazilian Ju Jitsu and CM boxing coach. More importantly, he views these disciplines through the lens of street application. I pay very close attention to what he says and eagerly anticipate his next visit to the UK to have the opportunity to train with him. Damned good guy, damned good teacher.

Slacky - thanks for the kind words, but I am just a guy who is lucky to have some great mentors and friends, and I am very stubborn. Those are my only attributes! I do need to get over there ASAP. It has been over a year now. It would be awesome to see you when I do.
