The Desert Raiders (A History Channel presentation)
The Long Range Desert Group aka LRDG was a tough and gutsy outfit in the North African campaign during WWII...these videos may or may not relate directly to Combatives directly however, they are interesting and informative in their own right.
Anytime brave men go into harm's way for our freedom there are lessons for us to learn...and these men should never be forgotten!

Watched a documentary on this group the other day. Not as famous as LRDG and very short-lived.
The programme on SIG featured an interview with Maurice Tiefenbrunner pictured in the wiki link. Apparently, when SIG was disbanded he was transferred to the SAS where he became Sterling's translator (I believe this was at a time when Sterling became a rampant alcoholic and dribbled much, making his commands difficult to interpret. Tiefenbrunner translated his commands which mostly consisted of, "Get me another drink, I want to watch the naked ladies.").
