| The Blitz! My apologies as I am usually on top of these things...7 Sept. 1940 - The Blitz! Between 7 September 1940 and 10 May 1941, more than 40,000 civilians were killed, half of them in London. May they rest in peace with God......and may they be remembered the next time someone mentions the Allies bombing Axis cities... ...and may the generations, now and to come, remember and honor the sacrifices made to guarantee their and the world's freedom...
