RIP Neil Armstrong, who died yesterday aged 82.

Eagle Scout, 78 combat missions in Korea, Test Pilot, Space Flight Pioneer, FIRST MAN ON THE MOON, University Professor and Father of three.

A true inspirational character.

I would guess that those of us of a certain age will always remember where we were when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon. For me, I was in a cafe in London, watching the blurred bw images on a tiny set.

I was somewhere in Vietnam. We didn't even know until 3 days later when the news finally reached us.
