| I know i am a little bit late in posting this, but i would like to add my thoughts on the 2007 International. I have been trying to get along to one of Dennis's seminars for quite some time, but for various reasons have been unable, so the International was my first. I must say a huge thank you to Dennis, all the instructors and the participants for a fantastic three days. The atmosphere was friendly, welcoming, lighthearted yet serious when getting on with the business at hand. It has been said before, but the total lack of 'ego problems' really sums up the quality of the people involved. The environment was a totally 'safe' place to train, and by 'safe' i mean that you can try your best without the worry of ridicule if you didn't get things right first time. In any case there was always someone on hand with a friendly word of guidance if required. I have been to many courses / seminars / training events here and abroad, and i can quite honestly say that this was for so many reasons the best! A fabulous organisation and training group that i am really pleased to have had the privilege to train with. I look forward to training with you all on as many occasions as i can in the future (wife permitting, of course!). Thank you. | |

| Most of you will remember Phil's Excellent aggression drill from the seminar, during the drill we had hold the participant back while his aggression was amped up before letting him loose on the padman, I recently purchased a power speed resistor which has been a great aid in this type of drill as the participants limbs are all still free to struggle forward and it really helps to hold him. Here's a photo, I picked this one up on ebay for £4.75 they retail around £14-20. Worth the money guys. Alan | |

| Great item there Al, ideal for enhancing forward drive. We've used elastic resistance bands for specific technique training. These are great because you can angle the vector of resistance to exactly match what's needed for the strike. Unfortunately, they tend to wear out eventually. | |

| Cool piece of kit. We've been using bicycle inner tubes for the same thing. | |

| When we used to do sprinting we used a big tractor tyre. We always did this on the beach as it makes a mess of the grass. I believe it is coming back in fashion. Having the proper harness though is essential.
