Sad to hear of the death of Donie O'Callaghan. Donie was a significant figure in both the Martial Arts and the Security scene in Ireland. He came over to Westport when I was presenting courses, hosted by John Brawn, and we spent enjoyable time discussing a wide range of topics.
Whenever he visited Liverpool we would link up for a chat. Donie was one of the few people to have the complete collection of Fighting Arts Magazine. Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Donie.
