Sad to hear of the passing of a martial arts legend.
Gene was a genuine US National Judo Champion before going into movies/TV, where he famously worked with Bruce Lee.
His book on grappling The Encyclopedia of Finishing Holds is a classic.
He refereed the notorious "fight" between Ali and Inoki.
He will be missed.
