My old friend John Clark passed away this morning. I met John the first time I visited Aintree Pistol Club. He very kindly let me have a go of his S&W m57 .41 Magnum revolver. We quickly became friends.

John had the key to the range, so many an afternoon was spent with us shooting pistols and shotguns. I put John onto BG jobs, especially the Miss World, and it was great to work together in Europe, USA and the Far East

RIP John.

As mentioned above, John mainly shot a S&W M57 .41 magum. This was a fairly odd choice, as the .44mag was more prevalent, and ammo more available. Anyway, he liked it and shot it very well. He also owned a Winchester Mod 12 pump shotgun. This was the first shotgun I ever fired. We couldn't shoot shotguns on regular range nights, but as mentioned, we had access to the range during the day and we could develop our more applicable skills then.
Some more memories....
