Sensei Denis St John Thompson

It is with much sadness that I report the death of the respected karate instructor Denis St John Thompson.
Sensei Denis taught me so much when I trained with him in Cape Town. I often stayed at his house on Tambours Kloof, where we had many long discussions about training.

He was a total martial artist and dedicated his life to karate and the study of Okinawan weapons.
Our thoughts are with his wife Merelle, and all his many students.
Rest in peace, Sensei
