I’m an Aussie, but I now live in Santa Barbara.
I’m a Personal Trainer by profession and have a background in both traditional martial arts and full contact combat sports. I’m also a former Army Reservist and an ex-bouncer.
I’m particularly a fan of the WWII combatives material, having read Get Tough and KOGK years ago and spent some time working on the method, alone and with friends.
I’m now at a point n my life where I’m rather bored training old ladies and post-rehab cases and want to push my business more in the direction of hardcore fitness and self-protection, so I’m very interested in any training and advice I can get.
