Americus training courses 2014 AAR

We held a variety of classes, from WW-2 Stick to Vehicle Assault Tactics. Great group of participants, who all gave 100%.
Shane did an outstanding job in putting the program together, and, as usual, Megan looked after us with her warm hospitality.
Even the weather co=operated, and the usual Georgia rainstorms held off until training was over.
Thanks to Slacky for his invaluable input with the training.

As usual we planned a free day after the courses, and, as usual, we went to the range. Here's Shane in rapid fire with his Glock....

We also did some rifle/pistol transition drills....

It was a great class. Thanks to Den and Slacky for coming over to teach. Thanks to Shane for hosting, teaching and getting us cars to shoot up. Thanks to Megan for her wonderful hospitality and cooking. It was wonderful.

Slacky has started work on the AAR..... so look forward to reading about:
- his encounters with Sabre-toothed Rattler Moccasin snakes,
-how everyone enjoyed Scrunchies,
-flying with 50 cheerleaders
- and eating Alligators.

We used the cars for the assault training, then Shane demonstrated various types of ammuntion on the bodywork and  front/rear windscreen, as well as giving guys the opportunity to try their ammo....



.... note the spray of particles. A similar  stream jets back into the passenger compartment; so don't try this without appropriate safety training.
It was great getting to do the training with cars that we didn't have to handle with kid gloves. Then the penetration tests gave invaluable information to the participants.
