| Outstanding Slacky, I was laughing out loud. I've added some phtos to the review. If there is interest we could dig out the video of the Taser experience? | |

| I'll add a couple of observations. Slacky's write-up of Bones steakhouse was spot on. No exaggeration, the service was the best I've ever experienced, and I've eaten in some prestigious establishments when on CP. The food was, well it defies my pen to describe how delicious. While Slacky went for mashed potatoes I selected Hash Browns. Now we have all eaten this dish at some time, but what arrived looked more like a cake, a big flat cake. Upon inspection it was a confection of potatoes and onions bronded to perfection, and resemblimg the normal equivalent about as much as Graham Norton resembles Jason Stetham. By contrast, the next day Shane took us to lunch at an establishment near the training site, with long queues to get to the counter, where a gaggle of rather large ladies served delicious local fare on polystyrene plates. And you know what..... it was great. Just goes to show that you can enjoy good food in a variety of settings. Slacky has mentioned Megan's cooking. She is amazing. She always invites the class over for dinner, and manages to fill a dozen hungry guys with the most delicious home-cooked dishes. | In fairness to ARV, this review is as much his as it is mine. Every single conversation with him for the past year has begun, not with "Hello" or "How are you?", but "Have you written that review yet?" followed by a frown of disapproval as I dredge up yet another poor excuse. | |

| Great news! The Slackster has volunteered to be pepper sprayed this year! As luck would have it, I just got in a new, experimental gel formula (C02 propelled) made with habanero extracts. | |

| My volunteering nature appears to be conjoined with memory loss. Still, openness to new experiences and all that. | |

| It was just a joke. There is no way I would spray Slacky, even if he begged me. In my experience the hotter OC's are way worse than a taser. | |

Drat, I was looking forward to that. I wanted to test the theory that Frozen youghurt neutralizes OC. | |

| I've been pepper sprayed before, by none other than the Range Elf himself. I don't recall the brand, but it was a foam with the stuff used in dry cleaning as a carrier agent. It was far from pleasant. The worst part by far was the shower later that evening, where I learned that OC residue is not water soluble and has the half life of something from the deep end of the periodic table. | |

| Looking back, we missed a good opportunity to really test the Taser. We could have given Slacky a Redgun,or, training knife, to see whether he could have accessed them. | |

| I can bring a SIRT (red /green laser training gun) for the experiment. This will clarify: can it be accessed by the tasee, can the tasee get it on target and get a vital shot off. | |
